Hillary supports children and adults in discovering how their early experiences affect the everyday choices they are making. At her private practice in Ann Arbor, Michigan, she provides space for clients to connect with their body sensations, helps clients to slow down, work to repair their nervous systems, and heal early traumatic events.
Hillary taught at the University of Michigan School of Social Work for five years and enjoys helping students learn the importance of trauma-informed care. Hillary is a passionate supervisor offering the essential perspective of “being the other nervous system in the room.”
Hillary completed her SEP in August of 2022 and is a session provider up to the Intermediate Level. She also completed her certificate in Adventure Therapy at the University of Hawaii in 2009. And when she can fit it in, she is also an avid knitter and stand-up paddleboarder.
